In 2013 she was awarded as a businesswoman of the year in the Middle-Sized Business category.

Kateřina is a practical innovator in education. She is the author of the Student-Organized Learning concept, including several forms of digital support for autonomous education. At the school she led, she created a concept for the development of robotics and technology and led workshops focused on technology in education. She is also came up with the concept of the Teachers Innovation and Inspiration Fair (started in 2018). Mrs. Kožnarová founded the Counseling Center for Mental Health of Students and their Academic Development and the community project "Rubik's Choir" aimed at the development and well-being of teachers. She has also created a structure for innovative cooperation with parents. She was a project manager for the TEDx conference and spoke at a number of conferences, such as PREF 2019, MENSA Conference 2018 and 2019.
Hobbies:

Alena has been involved in the education and bringing up of children since she was 18 when she started going to summer and winter camps as a leader. She works in the Elkonin Initiative - preparation for reading - as a lecturer of pre-grapheme and grapheme stage courses. Kateřina is a practical innovator in education. She is the author of the Student-Organized Learning concept, including several forms of digital support for autonomous education. She is also came up with the concept of the Teachers Innovation and Inspiration Fair (started in 2018). Mrs. Kožnarová founded the Counseling Center for Mental Health of Students and their Academic Development and the community project "Rubik's Choir" aimed at the development and well-being of teachers. She has also created a structure for innovative cooperation with parents. She was a project manager for the TEDx conference and spoke at a number of conferences, such as PREF 2019, MENSA Conference 2018 and 2019.

and history at Charles University in Prague, first at elementary school, then at grammar school. He
has also worked at the Ministry of Education where he stayed for two years. Even then he didn´t
give up teaching. On top of that he devotes his free time to children during summer camps.

Filip always knew that music was what he was born to do. He came to Prague at the age of 15 to study classical singing. First, at the Prague Conservatory and now at the International Conservatory Prague. During he studies, I started guesting at the National Theater as an opera singer, but his lifelong dream is to sing in classic musicals. He has already started to fulfill his dreams by performing in the Broadway theatre, Goya Music Hall, musical theatre in Karlín and Na Fidlovačce theatre.

Subsequently, she taught children from 1st to 5th grade in Atlanta and Abu Dhabi. Jennifer loves to travel and first visited Prague shortly after the Velvet Revolution. She helped children and adults prepare for Cambridge exams, worked as a summer camp tutor and led after-school clubs in STEAM and art. For his last season, he was appointed Junior Staff Director and trained young people in camp counselling. In 2019 Harol moved to China where he spent a year gaining more teaching experience. Then, in 2020, he came to the Czech Republic to work as an Elementary school teacher in a private school. Harol is very excited to be part of Sunny Canadian International School where he hopes to continue to impact young people.
Hobbies:

But as it happens, the arrival of offspring changes a lot, so she moved her main activity to work with children. In recent years, she has been mainly engaged in teaching foreign languages, teaching Czech to children and foreigners, and extra school education for children. Then she decided to travel. She traveled through Europe and landed in the USA for 3 years. After returning from travels, she had a family, and for several years she devoted herself only to her three children. Five years ago, she started teaching again and learning language methodology.

Iva's free time is filled with her children, travel and sports. She used to be a professional skier, now she prefers to go cross-country skiing or boating. Monika comes from Klatovy. At the beginning of her professional career, she worked in adult education (andragogy) in an international telecommunications company. After the birth of her daughter, her interest gradually shifted from adult education to the education of children. She believes that the years spent at school are crucial in shaping how children and young people approach learning for the rest of their lives. Her primary area of interest is special education, with a specialization in behavioural disorders (etopedics). She is also involved in the fields of criminology, criminalistics, and cybersecurity. Currently, she is furthering her education in psychology and social sciences. She also works as a lecturer in primary prevention and crime prevention programmes at primary schools.

Dana comes from Františkovy Lázně but has been living in Prague since she was 19. For 35 years, she taught at the Botičská Gymnasium, where in addition to teaching, she led a drama group with which they won several competitions and shows of amateur high school groups. They filled the Acropole Theater many times with their original plays. She also organized other school events, led a creative writing seminar, is the co-author of two book publications on literary works, and has also been involved in media education for many years. She also wrote the school chronicle.

Petr comes from one of the oldest royal Czech towns, the capital of hops and beer, and at the same
time from one the driest place in the Czech Republic which is Žatec. He has been working with young
people since he was 15 years old. Gradually, he was teaching in all ages, from preschool
children to elderly. His the very first experience in teaching was during his studies of geography
and history at Charles University in Prague, first at elementary school, then at grammar school. He
has also worked at the Ministry of Education where he stayed for two years. Even then he didn´t
give up teaching. On top of that he devotes his free time to children during summer camps.
Hobbies:
In his free time Petr likes traveling. he discovers interesting places thanks to the game of

Subsequently, she taught children from 1st to 5th grade in Atlanta and Abu Dhabi. Jennifer loves to travel and first visited Prague shortly after the Velvet Revolution. She fell in love with the city and returned many times. After she moved to Prague and obtained her TEFL certificate, Prague became her new home. She helped children and adults prepare for Cambridge exams, worked as a summer camp tutor and led after-school clubs in STEAM and art. Then, in 2020, he came to the Czech Republic to work as an Elementary school teacher in a private school. Harol is very excited to be part of Sunny Canadian International School where he hopes to continue to impact young people.

After the birth of her daughter, her interest gradually shifted from adult education to the education of children. She also organized other school events, led a creative writing seminar, is the co-author of two book publications on literary works, and has also been involved in media education for many years. Project Eureka, physics with own hands and head
David has been in education since he was 22 years old. During his experience of 24 years he worked in a few elementary schools as well as in high school. He likes his approval subjects - mathematics and chemistry, on top of that he devoted his time to self-study of physics. What he enjoys as well is class teacher´s work. He also regularly organized trips on boats, after school activities such as bycicle riding, or other sports events.
Hobbies:
David spends most of his free time with his family - wife, two daughters and a dog. The whole family enjoys volleyball. When David has a spare time after all he likes riding a bike, playing futsal, watching the Champions League. He also likes reading surreal poetry, listening to music of various genes or watching a good movie.

Stepan was born in Prague. After briefly considering an academic career, he chose a more hands-on experience. He taught Czech and foreign languages at several high schools in Prague. He has also worked for many years as a translator from German and English, mainly for various publishing houses. He occasionally publishes.
Hobbies:
Stepan likes sports, even though he has already finished his career in small-sided football. He also enjoys reading and playing the guitar.

Alejandro is from the city Monterrey, Mexico working as a teacher of artistic education and development of communicative expression since 1992 in public elementary and high schools.
He has been working in Prague for 13 years in elementary and high school education in different international schools and Czech public elementary and high schools as Spanish teacher. He is currently studying Psychology.
His hobbies are music and singing, outdoor activities and studying.

Born in Fife, Scotland, Richard worked for many years with the Scottish Government, ran youth clubs, and volunteered for a national charity supporting young children and their families. After moving to Spain, he retrained to work in education and consequently worked in two international schools in Valencia and Murcia, where he taught English as Second Language for over a decade. He recently made a move to the Czech Republic with his family, where he continued to work in education.
Hobbies:
In his spare time, Richard enjoys live music events, eating out, and helping to train young children at his local rugby club.

Eliška comes from Brno. During her university studies, she gained experience working at an international school in Brno and later spent a year teaching English at an elementary school. She has been tutoring students for several years, focusing mainly on English language. She is also actively involved in organizing after-school clubs and summer camps, where she focuses on developing communication, teamwork, and creativity in children.
Hobbies:
In her free time, Eliška enjoys long walks with her two dogs. She is passionate about sports, especially cycling and running, and downhill skiing in the winter. When the weather doesn´t allow outdoor activities, she’s happy with a good book - that´s how she recharges her energy and where she gets new inspiration for her personal and professional life.

Peter was born and raised in Kenilworth, England. He gained his bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Exeter in 2001. He has spent time teaching at various schools in the UK, Malaysia and the Czech Republic. He took a gap from teaching to pursue business interests in the ICT sector before returning to the profession in 2019.
Hobbies:
Peter has been heavily involved in sport for most of his life. He currently coaches the Prague Raptors Women's football team that compete in the Czech national league system. Other hobbies include music and books.

After teaching adult learners in James Cook Languages, Michaela joined Sunny Canadian School in September 2010. She can use and combine all the previous experience and that´s one of the reasons why she loves her job very much.

Michaela likes skiing and snowboarding. She used to play field hockey for many years. Now she enjoys working with children, especially organizing thematic events, celebrations or preparing creative programs.
