Sunny builds innovative Maple Building

The existing modern SCIS complex is being expanded with the new Maple Building. This

building with Canadian DNA is a symbol of the continued growth and innovation in education that SCIS brings not only to its students, but also to the broader school community. Construction has already begun on the new building directly on the SCIS campus and is scheduled to open in September 2026.

Centre of excellence in education – STEAM Centre

One of the key innovations that the Maple Building will bring will be the establishment of a regional centre for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) education.

Classrooms and labs focused on science and technology

Studios for development in the arts 

labs for robotics and science

The new building will also offer:

new meeting rooms

outdoor classrooms

quiet study rooms for individual work

private space for a counseling center 

and last but not least a multifunctional room
