COVID - 19 Stage 2 SCIS 12.10.-30.10.2020
Following the announcement of new crisis measures by the government on 8th October 2020, the opening of the SCIS 2nd Stage is limited according to the Education Act. This means that students will only attend school on person on alternating weeks.
In the week from 12th-16th October one half of classes will attend school only online and not in person; in the week from 19 to On October 23, the other half of classes will attend school only online and not in person. Classes attend school will need to observe maximum possible social distancing and other measures to prevent infection.

For SCIS this means that:
In the week from 12 to 16 October:
Grade 6 and 7 students will attend school as normal, with maximum infection control measures applied.
Grade 8 and 9 students will not attend school in person and will learn online only. 12-19th October, classes 8.A, 8.B, 9.A, 9.B will learn online only. Teaching will be conducted in an interactive online way through video conferencing according to the normal schedule. Students should always log on to the virtual classroom using the relevant room code (see appendices). During this week, attendance in the Skola Online class book will be registered in the normal manner. If the student does not attend the course, it is necessary for parents to excuse this absence or they will be recorded as absent without reason. |Students must follow teacher's instructions throughout the lesson, they have the camera and microphone on all the time unless otherwise instructed or muted by the teacher.

The week from October 26 to October 30 is a holiday as previously planned.
We hope that this arrangement does not last too long. Let us hope that the situation will develop better soon and that such measures will not be needed again in the near future.
