Information about the enrolment to Kindergarten Sunny Canadian International School – Mateřská škola, s.r.o. – Czech–English program, from the school year 2020/2021

The important information for all parents and personal representatives about the new regulation in the Pre-school Education from September 2017.

All children who will be 5 years old by September 1^st will have to be enrolled to Kindergarten. The last year (pre-first class) before entering an Elementary School is becoming compulsory.  Every parent / personal representative is obliged to enrol 5 year old child to Kindergarten.  If this regulation is not followed, the parents / personal representatives will be breaking the law and could face misdemeanour proceedings. The compulsory Preschool Education applies to citizens of the Czech Republic, the citizens of another EU Member State and to other foreigners who are authorized in the Czech Republic for a period longer than 90 days and to parties to the proceedings for International Protection.

The Education Act sets the dates for the Enrolment to Kindergarten from May 2^nd till May 16^th 2019. Sunny International School Kindergarten – Czech-English program sets the day for Kindergarten Enrolment on Wednesday May 6^th 2020..

 Sunny Canadian Kindergarten accepts children above and beyond the date of enrolment into the full capacity of the individual class.

Sunny Canadian International School Kindergarten allows admission into the Czech - English Programme throughout the school year until the class has reached its capacity. Do not hesitate to contact Admission and PR Manager Mgr. Markéta Zeithammerová at admissions@sunnycanadian.cz or Deputy Principal of Kindergarten Bc. Tereza Novotná, MA for more information about school fees at ms@sunnycanadian.cz. You can arrange a school visit and a tour by calling 604 736 342. Our application can be downloaded here (Velikost: neznámá). After we receive your application the administrative process of enrolling a child to Kindergarten will start. Please bring the parental ID, the child´s birth certificate and a completed application, appendix. Single parents must bring the legal documents that prove custody.

The Education Act sets the dates for the Enrolment to Kindergarten from May 2^nd till May 15^th 2020. Sunny International School Kindergarten – Czech programme sets the day for Kindergarten Enrolment on Monday May 4th to Wednesday May 13^th 2020, from 9am till 4pm. The parents / personal representatives with permanent residences in Jesenice (area defined by a generally binding decree town Jesenice no. 1/2017 from March 23^rd 2017) have to personally attend enrollment and bring the required documents.

Procedures of Enrolment to the Kindergarten – Czech program for the school year 2020/2021 in conjunction with extraordinary measures adopted by the Czech Government against the Coronavirus

1. It is possible to submit the „Žádost o přijetí dítěte k předškolnímu vzdělávání -  Application Form“ only  in the following ways:

1.1.   Via the SCIS Kindergarten´s data box - rbh7fw9

1.2.   Via an e-mail with a recognized digital signature ( an encrypted email)

1.3.   Via post

1.4.   Via personal submission upon agreement (due to the current situation this is the least recommended method) with the Vice Principle for the Kindergarten Bc. Tereza Novotná, MA (ms@sunnycanadian.cz; T: +420 734 466 583)

Please take note that no other process of submission can be allowed and the submitted “Application Form” after the stated date of the Enrolment to Kindergarten will not be accepted.

2. An attached copy of the child's birth certificate to the “Application Form “.

3. By providing us with the obligatory, compulsory vaccination certificate of the child the legal representative will prove this by:

3.1.   A signed statement that the child is properly vaccinated (please see the attachment – Prohlášení o očkování).

3.2.   By submitting a copy of the child´s entire vaccination certificate (vaccination book). 

If the child has not been vaccinated according to the vaccination schedule, the legal representative must contact their paediatrician to provide a confirmation that the child is immune to the infection or couldn’t receive the vaccination due to a severe allergic reaction to the vaccine or other stated medical reasons.

4. After receiving the “Application Form” and the necessary documents mentioned above, the legal representative will receive a registration number via an e-mail. The registration number will be issued only after the delivery and reception of all the prescribed documents. The registration number is then used to publish the list of accepted children to the Kindergarten for the school year of 2020/2021.
