Compulsory testing and PCR test
Dear parents, on Monday 8.11. and 15.11. our school is a part of COMPULSORY testing for the presence of COVID, namely tests from the stocks of the Ministry of Education.
Notwithstanding the following, each child must be tested on Monday.
Our goal is a timely and, above all, reliable detection of possible positive cases at school, so that we can avoid all quarantines and the disease itself as much as possible.
We are very happy that we managed to arrange cooperation with another testing center and arrange for the school voluntary PCR tests from saliva, on THURSDAY! We plan to do these tests once every 14 days and they will be covered by the insurance company (they are therefore included in the number of tests to which every vaccinated person or child under the age of 18 is entitled). The validity of the test will cover possible weekend activities thanks to Thursday's deadline. From an epidemiological point of view, according to information from KHS, Thursday's testing also makes more sense.
If you decide to use this benefit of PCR tests, then in the week from 8.11. your child will be tested twice. On Monday 8.11. antigenic mandatory tests of the Ministry and on Thursday 11.11. PCR tests from saliva with a test center at school.
This fact, which we discussed in advance from the members of the School Board yesterday, we all perceive as very desirable in the light of increasing numbers, we will also have clearer data in hand, in terms of the reliability of antigenic tests.
You have the option of replacing Monday's mandatory test with a test from a healthcare facility. Please let us know about your plans so that we can adapt the logistics of the whole event to the whole process, it will help us a lot.
