Junior High, Grades 6–9

Junior High. Beyond the
Eight-Year Grammar School.

Bilingual teaching, exceptional academic quality and the chance of a unique specialisation in STEAM or Diplomacy & International Business in a friendly international community.

A Broad Foundation. Your Own Direction.

A General Education with a Specialisation

Junior High brings together high academic standards, an exceptional level of English and an international environment with room to develop each student’s individual talent. In Grade 6, students discover their interests and strengths through elective subjects and themed packages. From Grade 7, they choose a specialisation in STEAM or Diplomacy & International Business and focus on developing their potential in the area that interests them most.

How We Learn

Seeing the Bigger Picture.
Learning for Life.

Bilingual teaching, real-world projects and an emphasis on independent thinking are at the heart of our approach. We offer students a safe, exceptionally well-equipped environment, support for their individual goals and room for friendships, interests and a healthy lifestyle.

Naturally. Confidently. In Both Languages.

Bilingual
in Every Subject.

Our bilingual environment teaches students to use Czech and English naturally, confidently and across all subjects. The exceptional standard of education is confirmed by international Cambridge certification – more than 75 % of students reach C1 level by Grade 8.

Project-Based Learning

From Your Own Ideas
to Well-Thought-Out Solutions.

Project-based learning moves students towards active discovery, experimentation and making connections. It teaches them to ask the right questions, think independently, work together and take responsibility for their own work. Sharing experiences and presenting results to an audience are also an important part of it.

Modern Teaching

Thoughtful Methods.
Meaningful Learning.

At Junior High, we put students in an active role. Through inquiry-based and problem-based learning, guided discussions, experiments and teamwork, they learn to discover things for themselves, evaluate information critically and find their own solutions. Ongoing feedback is an important part of this, helping students understand their own progress.

Individual Learning Paths

Education That
Respects Your Ambitions.

We respect every student’s individuality and create the conditions for their talent and academic ambitions to grow. Through individual support plans, we help students balance their studies with sport or the arts, build on their strengths and focus on the subjects that matter most for their future studies.

An Exceptional Learning Environment

University-Level Facilities
Already at Junior High.

All Junior High students, whatever their specialisation, can use the unique spaces and technology of the new Maple Building. The modern STEAM Centre, specialist laboratories and university-level equipment let them experiment, discover new connections and gain hands-on experience far beyond ordinary lessons.

Wellbeing & Life Hackers

Understanding the World.
Understanding Yourself.

At Junior High, we care not only about academic results, but also about a healthy lifestyle and exploring the real challenges of everyday life. The Life Hackers subject brings together health, nutrition, physical activity, digital safety, civic responsibility and sustainability. Students learn to evaluate information critically, build healthy habits and make informed decisions.
