Sunny Canadian Kindergarten has a specialized educational program for children from a very early age teaching basic life and language skills in a warm, welcoming and fun environment. We also have an elementary school where they can continue their education in a similar environment.
- School curriculum program "Sunny Canadian – Learning with fun" (based around the educational specifications for preschool children of the Czech ministry of education, using two week themes..
- children ages 2 - 6 years old (Classes are grouped according to age, and curriculum for each class is based on the social and emotional needs of that age group.)
- 2 teachers and 12 children maximum per class (One native English speaker and one Czech teacher per class. All of our teachers are qualified educators with fun, enthusiastic, creative personalities)
- individual attention (The low student to teacher ratio allows for personal attention to the children‘s needs and individual educational plans to be created for each child in order to help them reach their own personal best.)
- learning through fun and games (Play is natural for children and the teachers choose activities which encourage their use of play and games to learn about the world around them.)
- outdoor education program (Children have regular outings and lessons in our school garden. )
- elementary school preparation (We offer physical and mental preparation for children who will be entering 1st grade the following year, focusing on fine motor skills such as handwriting, cutting, etc, visual and listening abilities, logical thinking, memory, social and emotional maturity level.)
- theme-related field trips (regular trips include: zoo, theatre, fire station, ice skating...)
- extra courses (we offer many afternoon activities at our school building - fine art, silk art, ceramics, sports, dance, computers, aerobics, and more)
- school bus available (from Prague and surrounding areas)
