This year, the Czech Ministry of Education failed to approve our request for an eight-year high school. On 4 February, we filed an appeal and are waiting for a final decision.
We are still proud to offer students the opportunity to continue beyond fifth grade at the Elementary School from grades 6 to 9 and then complete their secondary education at our Sunny Canadian high school.
We continue to maintain our long-term plan to open an eight-year high school. If our appeal is rejected this year, we will reapply for 30 September 2012.
Students who are studying in Sunny Canadian School’s second stage at the time of our request is granted will automatically become students of Gymnázium Sunny Canadian. The concept and method of study will not change, because teaching staff are fully qualified to teach at eight-year high schoool, and the design and educational program fully meet the requirements for expertise and level of gymnazium study.
